The way I see it, the technical problems are mostly easy and it’s the people problems that are predominantly hard: communication, coordination, dominance games, different levels of commitment, likes/dislikes biases and so on. This is why it’s far easier to build a functioning software than a functioning team or a functioning product - those require both qualitatively and quantitatively different degrees of effort.
